Tell it to CanLaw

I have never heard anyone in any courtroom pronounce “sine die” correctly.
As the victim of numerous Latin teachers I cringe when I hear it mispronounced as “sign eh dye”

I had the great pleasure of publicly correcting an arrogant and obnoxious crown attorney recently. {She was groundlessly opposing my private criminal charges)
She requested an adjournment sine die, saying “sign eh dye”

I agreed to the adj but informed the judge that it was correctly pronounced “seen eh dee.”

If looks could kill,,,,,

Sometimes you have to settle for small wins.
